Northern lights tour with Sleddogs

Welcome to a evening trip with sleddogs.
We pick you up at either your hotel or tourist office at 6 pm , and go out to Karhuniemi 6 km outside of Kiruna, where you have the chance to meet our friendly alaskan huskies face to face. We tell you a little about our dogs and you also have the time to romp and play with the puppies. Alaskan huskies are friendly dogs and used to visitors.
After you have gotten aquainted with the dogs you can help us harness them once harnessed, the dogs are very eager to get going. A few minutes later we are snuggled under reindeer skins, 12 eager huskys whisking us into the night.

The trails winds up the sides of a mountain to the top where we will have a chance to see the famous Northern Light (aurora borealis) up close. When we turn off the headlamps, we get the full effect of the amazing display. The only sound is the panting of the dogs. This is an experience not to be missed! We continue to a Lapish Tent without electricity and running water where hot drinks and homemade cookies are served.

Time for Northern light trip with sleddogs, about 3 hours. Back in Kiruna about 21.00.
